NUTEC - INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS AND EXHIBITION: Gateway to Industrial Change November 10 - 12, 2010 Exhibition Grounds, Frankfurt am Main, Germany We are proud to announce the upcoming second Nutec congress and trade fair which will open on Wednesday 10th November 2010 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Grounds.
The first Nutec congress and trade fair opened on Wednesday 12. November 2008 at the Frankfurt Exhibition Grounds. Approximately 1,200 participants attended from 25 countries underlining the rapid advance of Cradle to Cradle at the international level. Over three days, 100 experts exchanged information and ideas about the revolutionary Cradle to Cradle paradigm. The focus was on pioneering materials and methods of production which permit raw materials to be used in closed cycles. In addition, approximately 60 exhibitors demonstrated the attractions of implementing intelligent product design in practice. Outstanding highlights from the event included the opening address by the initiator of Nutec, Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart and the presentation of the Netherlands as a Cradle to Cradle pioneer. By 2012, the Dutch plan to align all public procurement orders with Cradle to Cradle - representing a volume of € 40 billion. "Nutec has ignited the Cradle to Cradle community. It has brought
together many interested parties and disciples of this revolutionary
concept," commented Michael von Zitzewitz, Chairman of the Board
of Management of Messe Frankfurt, when describing the successful launching
event. He added that it is now essential for the event to build on this
successful platform for the future. "Frankfurt has become the international
meeting place for business pioneers who wish to break their dependency
on commodity markets and build their economic success on new materials
and innovative methods of production that are environmentally sustainable,"
concluded Prof. Dr. Michael Braungart.
