EPEA Mission and Vision

EPEA has the vision that processes, products and the way they are made available to the consumers will be designed to protect the integrity of materials which will flow through continuous, perfect life cycles and manifest themselves in the form of new products with still higher levels of technological sophistication and practical use.

EPEA's mission is to partner with governments, international organizations and industry to translate its vision into profitable, non-polluting and healthy products and manufacturing processes.

EPEA's mission is to work with its partners to aim for perfection by closing the biological and technical nutrient cycles, to do it profitably and to ultimately abolish the very concept of waste and thus take the products and processes beyond the realm of regulations, present and future. It takes inspiration from nature where "waste" is never wasted, but where it becomes "food" for other parts of the ecology.

For EPEA pollution is an indicator of bad design and a strong encouragement to "remake the way we make things". The Cradle to Cradle methodology holds promise to sustain future growth and wealth in terms of profits, our positive interaction with the environment, social aspects of work, play and consumption and human and animal health.
