Troldtekt Wood Wool Acoustic Panels consist of wood fibers bonded with cement. They are available in various structures from extremely fine to rough, depending on the thickness of the wood fibers. The panels are available both in natural, unplastered variants and in lacquered versions. White, grey or so-called FutureCem cement is used for production. Troldtekt Wood Wool Acoustic Panels are certified with Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold Full Scope (version 3.1) and Material Health Gold (version 4.0).
Good room acoustics are important for well-being and comprehensibility in rooms where people come together, such as living rooms, offices, schools or leisure facilities. The reverberation time, i.e. the time required for sound to subside in the room, is decisive for acoustics. Hard, smooth surfaces such as concrete or plaster result in a longer reverberation time and therefore poor acoustics. Open-pore materials such as Troldtekt panels shorten the reverberation time and thus contribute to a more pleasant sound environment.
