EPEA played a key role in developing the course, which was initiated through a partnership between the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII) and the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).
With the new "Cradle to Cradle Certified®: Learn & Act" training professionals receive a practice-oriented introduction to the Cradle to Cradle® concept and the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Product Standards. The focus is on how circular economy principles can be applied to products and used for product innovation and continuous improvement.
The English-language online course combines expert knowledge with practical exercises and concrete examples. Topics covered include the Cradle to Cradle Certified® standards for Full Scope, Circularity, and Material Health. Furthermore, the training addresses current developments regarding regulatory requirements, digitalization, and AI, while highlighting the connection between Cradle to Cradle Certified® and the DGNB system.
