James Hardie Europe is a manufacturer of building board solutions for interior construction and façades. Under the fermacell® brand, the company offers gypsum fibre boards, dry screed elements, and cement-bonded boards, which have been produced in Germany since the 1970s.
fermacell® gypsum fibre boards are made from recycled paper fibres, recycled gypsum, and water. They do not require additional binders and are compressed under high pressure into stable, odour-neutral boards. Due to their material composition, they are suitable for use as construction boards, fire protection boards, and moisture-resistant boards, contributing to a tested and indoor climate-friendly interior fit-out.
The fermacell® Therm25™ elements are based on a 25 mm gypsum fibre board and feature integrated channels for underfloor heating and cooling systems. The elements are installed using a dry construction method, have a low installation height, and are ready for floor covering within a short period of time.
