Three faucets (GROHE BauEdge Size S, GROHE Eurosmart Size S, and GROHE Eurosmart Kitchen) as well as the GROHE Tempesta 100 shower rail set achieved the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Gold level. In addition, the sustainability performance of the GROHE BauEdge and GROHE Eurosmart faucets is enhanced through the use of SilkMove ES technology, where “ES” stands for Energy Saving. This technology prevents unnecessary hot water consumption by delivering only cold water when the faucet lever is in the central position. As a result, GROHE SilkMove ES technology can help reduce a building’s CO₂ emissions, which is particularly important given the significant contribution of buildings and construction activities to global carbon emissions.
