Optigrün develops system solutions for green roofs. In collaboration with EPEA, verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) have been created for nine green roof systems.
The EPDs provide transparency regarding the environmental impact of each system build-up, creating a reliable foundation for planning, tendering, and sustainability communication. The solutions evaluated include economy, lightweight, nature, and retention roofs.
Standardized environmental data is now available for planners, building owners, and other project stakeholders. This supports informed decision-making in sustainable construction and facilitates the life cycle assessment of buildings.
