Dematic provides supply chain automation solutions worldwide using advanced technologies and software for manufacturing, warehousing and distribution processes. The Dematic Multishuttle 2® is the first shuttle-based automated storage and delivery system (AS/RS) to be awarded Cradle to Cradle (C2C) bronze certification. The C2C certification assesses material health, circularity and energy use, among other things. The certification applies specifically to the Dematic Multishuttle 2, which is produced at the Stříbro plant in the Czech Republic.
The system moves containers, boxes and trays quickly and scalably through the warehouse, from incoming goods to shipping. It can be seamlessly integrated into intelligent control systems and grows with requirements.
Since its market launch in 2006, the technology has made an important contribution to the implementation of Industry 4.0 concepts in logistics and is now an integral part of Dematic's automation portfolio.
