STABILO developed the GREENpoint with a high proportion of recycled plastic. The felt-tip pen is made from 87% recycled material and has been certified according to the Cradle to Cradle Certified® Standard.
In addition, renewable energy is used at the production site in Weißenburg, Germany. At the company's headquarters in Heroldsberg, Germany, measures to improve energy efficiency have been implemented, including cooling the data center with fresh air and geothermal energy, as well as using the resulting waste heat to heat parts of the administration building.
